On a daily basis from when we were young, most of us have at some point looked in a mirror and screamed, when we have noticed that small imperfection on our face. We have from a young age been encouraged to undertake a daily cleansing routine, with some of us paying out extortionate amounts of money to top companies, that bombard us with advertising, telling us how wonderful their products are, and how young they can make us look.
However when, you look deeper into these products ingredients, and it is only now that I know what language the ingredients are actually written in, do I understand, what chemicals, I used to put on my face, to try to enhance my look and cleanse my face of any impurities. These chemical, some dry your skin out, some put a gloss on it, some just don’t benefit the skin and have no right being in the product at all.
So, I decided that I would bring out my own cleansing oil to battle, those imperfections found in corporate products. A natural oil that nourishes the skin, whilst cleansing. An oil that combines a luxurious blend of natural oils and pure essential oils, something that leaves the skin smooth, helping to clean away make-up and gently removing those impurities.
This beautiful oil not only leaves skin perfectly cleansed, but also leaves the skin feeling revived and completely nourished. This oil is ideal for removing make-up. Suitable for daily use on all skin types, but ideal for dry and mature skin. This oil is suitable for vegans and the young and the old. We recommend that you use Daily and Massage a small amount into the skin and wash off with warm water or remove with cotton wool. For extra exfoliation, the oil can also be removed with a clean, warm face cloth.
Welcome to The Little Cornish Soap Companies Cleansing Oil, Available in a soothing Lavender and Bay or a Fragrant, Rose and Frankincense.
Our Cleansing oils are made with natural ingredients, here we tell you what those ingredients are and most importantly why, we chose them and how they will benefit you and your skin?
Macadamia nut oil has high contents of palmitoleic acid, this high antioxidant effects of the oil make it an ideal moisturizer with great anti-aging compounds. Some of these compounds have been found to decrease the rate at which skin matures. However, the palmitoleic acid found in macadamia nut oil can not only slow down the signs of aging, but some research has found that it can even remove it aiding the skin in regaining elasticity in situations where it has been lost. Macadamia Oil also helps to prevent sunburn by helping the skin retain its moisture. The high vitamin E content and monounsaturated oils are able to replace the original oils in damaged skin helping the skin with the healing of small wounds.
Safflower Oil is soothing and has antioxidant properties which help to treat damage and inflammation. Safflower oil reduces the appearance of wrinkles by softening, smoothing and hydrating the skin. In dry, itchy skin conditions, such as eczema, it helps reduce inflammation and speeds healing.
Safflower oil helps “maintain the skin’s outer protective layer, this oil has a rather high amount of vitamin E which helps to lower the severity of skin roughness and may also help reduce the length and depth of both fine lines and wrinkles. As an antioxidant, the vitamin also helps limit damage caused by free radicals. By using this oil on your skin you are enhancing its natural moisture barrier and this in turn helps to shield and limit the environmental damage to your skin cells that may be wrecked by the sun or dry air, ensuring a healthier and constantly rejuvenated skin surface.
Castor oil is a rich oil derived from the Ricinus communis, or castor bean. In the Netherlands, locals commonly refer to castor oil as the “wonder oil” because of its many uses. Castor oil’s main ingredient is ricinoleic acid, but it also contains significant amounts of linoleic and oleic acid as well as very small amounts of other fatty acids.
These acids are not only extremely moisturising but also give the oil its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and analgesic, or pain relieving, properties.
Castor oil benefits the skin by not only moisturising the but because of its antiseptic properties it helps to eliminate bacteria from the surface of the skin but it can also penetrates to kill even deeper bacteria. Unlike many other acne treatments, castor oil will not dry out the skin. Instead, castor oil benefits the skin by calming inflammation and leaving the skin hydrated. It is such an effective moisturiser and emollient that castor oil is commonly used as an anti-wrinkle treatment. When applied regularly, castor oil will increase the skins elasticity, making the skin appear more supple and diminish the appearance of wrinkles. Many people have also found castor oil effective in lightening age spots and getting rid of stretch marks.
